Books Worth Reading
The Silky Terrier - The First 25 Years was put out by the M.L.S.T.C. to record the history of the breed in Canada from 1965 (the year the breed was officially recognized) to 1990 (when the book was put together). It is a paperback with cerlux spine, and shows pictures and pedigrees of most of the Champions and other title-holders made up during that period. It also covers the origins of the breed in Canada and write-ups on many of the early breeders. A very good instrument for learning about the Silky in our Country. (Limited Quantities)
M.L.S.T.C. Yearbooks have been put out since 1991. For each year the give photo's and pedigrees of title-holders for that period. They also give records of Top Dogs, Award Winners, Top Breeders, and other Silky Statistics for the year.
The above are available for purchase from the Club Secretary. (See "E-Mail Us")
